Description

PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT:

The product can be applied to surfaces of different nature after their treatment.

New plasters:

Make sure the plaster is dry and hardened properly (at least four weeks).
If necessary, reinforce with appropriate products.
In the presence of mold or algae, treat the surface with appropriate biocides.
Apply a possible layer of water-based fixing insulation.

Old plasters:

If the old paint is not perfectly anchored, it must be removed mechanically.
Any defects must be filled.
In the presence of mold or algae, treat the surface with appropriate biocides.
Apply a possible layer of water-based fixing insulation.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

After preparing the base, apply two layers of quartz paint in the desired color.
When the base layer is completely dry, apply STELLA using the technique described below:
Add any components such as glitter or other components.
• mix the product to homogenize it;
• immerse the application tool. It is recommended to use a brush with stiff bristles;
• apply the product with a horizontal, circular or crossed brush, depending on the desired final effect. For an optimal application, it is important to work quickly wet on wet to avoid traces of joints;
• check the visual effect before complete drying. It is possible to change the design while the product is still wet;
• it is recommended not to interrupt the work and to complete it from edge to edge.

• ambient temperature: min 5°C / max 35°C;
• relative humidity of the environment: <80%;
• support temperature: min 5°C / max 35°C;
• substrate humidity: <10% of R.H.

PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:

• THEORETICAL YIELD PER HAND: approximately 15 m² \ L;
• VISCOSITY: 2000 – 4000 cps;
• SPECIFIC GRAVITY: 1.29 ± 0.05 g/ml;
• pH: 7 – 8;
• VOC: 30 gr/L.

HANDLING – STABILITY:

Storage: in environments with temperatures between 5 and 35°C.
The finished product, if it is stored in a dry place, at room temperature and in sealed containers, does not present stability problems. The maximum recommended storage time is 12 months. Regarding the evaluation of toxicological data, please consult the safety data sheet.
The product does not withstand freezing.
