Description
PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT:
SANDY can be applied to different substrates after proper treatment.
New plasters:
Ensure that the plaster is dry and properly hardened (at least four weeks).
Provide reinforcement if necessary.
Use appropriate biocides in the presence of algae or mold.
If necessary, apply a layer of water-based primer.
Apply one or two layers of quartz-based paint.
Old plasters:
Clean the surfaces by removing any loose parts.
Level the wall. Apply fillers if necessary.
Use appropriate biocides in the presence of algae or mold.
If necessary, apply a layer of water-based primer.
Apply one or two layers of quartz-based paint.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
The product is ready to use. It is applied with a brush in one layer. Depending on the technique and the tools used, different decorative effects can be obtained. We suggest you apply SANDY with the brush in cross strokes to distribute the sand particles for a textural effect.

• Dilution: none. Ready to use,
• Best applied at: temperature T=+5 / +35°C and relative humidity less than 75%,
• Drying time (at T=23±2°C; RH=50±5%): dry to the touch = 3-4 hours; completely dry = 14-24 hours.
All tools must be cleaned with water immediately after use.
PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:
• FLOW: 5-6 m²/lt,
• VISCOSITY: 11000 ± 5000 cps,
• SPECIFIC GRAVITY: 1.31 ± 0.05 g/ml,
• pH: 7-8,
• VOC: 30 gr/lt.
HANDLING – STABILITY:
Storage: keep at temperatures between 5 and 35°C.
SANDY has no stability problems when it is kept in a dry place, at room temperature and in the original sealed containers. The maximum storage period is 12 months. PROTECT FROM FROST.
